Don was "The Man, The Myth, The Legend" too many, he was "the GODFATHER to all" and second Dad to so many. He was a "Jack of all trades, Master of None, though oftentimes better than Master of One." He was the one everyone went to or called, he listened but also gave his opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not, and it told it like he saw it.
Don loved his family first whether blood or not, he loved gardening, antiques, fishing, playing poker or cribbage with family and friends, and he loved vacationing in Las Vegas and Florida. Don will be greatly missed by so many family members and friends.
Family and Friends will gather from 2 to 7 p.m. for a Celebration of Life at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. Per Don's wishes it will be a time to be together, laugh and tell the many stories.
