Donald L. Turner

Donald Lee Turner; of Lewiston; formerly of Lake Orion; born Oct. 8, 1923; passed Oct. 6, 2015. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dot (Ethel); brothers, sisters and parents. He is survived by his four children, Bruce (Robin) Turner of Davison, Barb (Steve) Hillman of Hadley, Mark (Patty) Turner of Lewiston and Nancy (Pat) Fitzpatrick; 6 grandkids; and 6 great grandkids. Don was a longtime resident of Lake Orion prior to living in Lewiston for the last 28 years. He was a WWII Veteran, and he loved to bowl, hunt and golf. But most of all his "therapy" was to be on his backhoe. Don had a good life and will be truly missed. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 8 pm. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
