Donald W.Brown,; age 71; of Pontiac; passed away January 11, 2009; beloved husband of Janet; loving father of Donna (Ishmael) McQueen, Ruthann Eldridge, Kevin (Kelly) Brown, Donald (Michele) Brown Jr., and Elaine Marie Brown; loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of three; brother of Richard and Robert Brown and Marilyn Johnson. Donald retired from General Motors Truck & Coach with over 30 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Al Terrell officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 t o 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
