Doris Ann Bronoel

Doris A. Bronoel; of Rochester; October 19, 2016; age 93. Doris is the beloved wife of the late Robinson “Bob” for 51 years; loving mother of Karen (Robert) Schadel and Kenneth (Ruth Muszynski) Bronoel; loving mother–in-law of Karen Bronoel; beloved grandmother of Robert (Allayna) Schadel Jr., Scott (Samantha) Schadel, Stacey (Jason) Cuthrell and Marcey (Joshua) Carroll; and dear great grandmother of Zoe, Julia, Emmett, Cole, Will, Benjamin, Abigail, Lilian, Christopher, Alexis and Kathryn. Doris attended Albion College and worked for Oakland County Social Services for 22 years. She loved going to the casino, playing Bridge and knitting. Doris and Bob enjoyed traveling together in their retirement and spent several winters in Florida. The family is grateful for the excellent care she received during the past four years at Sunrise of Rochester. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Lake Orion United Methodist Church, 140 E. Flint Street with burial at 2:30pm at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 3-8pm at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. www.sparksgriffin.com
