Van Gilder, Doris J.; of Rochester Hills; Sunrise July 7, 1923 - Sunset February 24, 2013. Beloved mother of James (Ellen) Van Gilder, Julie Steinmetz and Jeffrey (Shelia) Van Gilder. Grandmother of Stephen (Alina), Patrick (Jennifer), Nicholas, Matthew Van Gilder, Shanna (Ronny) Swallwell and Lauren (Rico) Damico. Great-grandmother of Wesley, Gretta, Astrid, Basia, Enzo and Hannah. Doris is survived by brother Glenn (Lillian) Brokenshaw, sister Joan Jones and sister in law Del. She was preceded in death by her husband Basil, two sons Terry and Stephen and one brother Hugh. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
