CARPENTER, DOROTHY ANN, of Lake Orion, July 17, 2007 age 75.Beloved wife of Charles.Dear mother of Steve (Linda) Carpenter of Lake Orion, Wendy Brennan of Clarkston, and Cindy Carpenter of Lake Orion. Loving Grandmother of Nicklaus (Malinda) Brennan, Chad Brennan, and the late Tammy Bauers. Great-Grandmother of Delaney Brennan. Sister of Sue Anglea of Lake Orion, and Kareen (Bill) Olson of Lake Orion. Preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Clarence Page.Special friend of her dog Madi.Mrs. Carpenter was a member of the Lake Orion United Methodist Church, Sweet Adelines, Christian Woman's Club, Red Hatters, and served on the Elections Board of Orion Township. She was formerly employed by Sutherland Oil Co., Lake Orion Schools, Fay's Fabrics, U.S. Census, and retired from Air-Land Survey Co. Funeral services Friday 11:00 am. from the Lake Orion United Methodist Church. Interment East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336) after 2:00pm. Thursday, with suggested visiting hours of 2 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm.Memorial contributions may be directed to American Heart Association or Lake Orion United Methodist Church, or Diabetes Foundation.
