Dorothy E. Roberts

Dorothy E. Roberts; of Lapeer; age 93; passed away on May 7, 2021.  Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late James C. Roberts; dear mother of  the late James David (Beverly) Roberts, Joyce (Roy) Harrison and Donald (Kathy) Roberts; loving grandmother of James Kevin Harrison, Michael (Cathryn) Harrison, Trevor (Kelly) Roberts, Jamey (Jamie) Robinson, Rebecca (Benjamin) Heminger and Adam (Jessica) Roberts; great grandmother of 13.  God and family were the focus of Dorothy's life.  She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Mt. Mulga, Alabama for many years.  She loved and doted on her great grandchildren.  Dorothy will be remembered for making the best homemade biscuits and teaching her grandchildren how to make them.  More than anything she loved to spend time fishing and was very good at it.  She was an excellent gardener who could grow just about anything.  Dorothy also  spent time making quilts for her family members and they will be treasured for years to come.  A private family service will be held.  Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cardinal Hospice .
