Dr. Charles Mcneely

Dr. Charles E. McNeely; of Pontiac; January 14, 1942 – September 30, 2021.  Charles is the beloved husband of Alice Faye (Davis) McNeely for 58 years; loving father of Donna (Clyde) Richter and Alicia Bennett; loving grandfather of Jeremy Richter, Amanda (Cody) Bushong, Samantha (Ryan) Hillier, James Gillette, Stephanie Gillette and Devon Huntley; and dear great grandfather of Gabriel Richter, Emily Richter, Harmony Hillier, Landan Richter and Zander Richter.  He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends.  For 35 years Pastor McNeely served Temple Baptist Church in Lake Orion until his retirement in 2010.  He also retired from GM after 11.3 years.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.  Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
