Dwayne Anthony Harrison

October 9, 1989 — January 30, 2021

Dwayne Anthony Harrison (Reid), affectionately known by family as “Milk-Man” was born October 9, 1989 in Detroit, MI to the union of Dwayne and Delores Reid. He attended Detroit Public Schools, graduated from Southfield High School in 2008 where he exceled in band and JROTC then earned his Computer Aided Design & Drafting degree from Oakland Community College in 2019. To everyone’s surprise, he became an Ordained Minister in 2020.

He loved to sing and dance, play the drums and piano, and was extremely great with his hands. He constantly proved that there was nothing he couldn’t do. Dwayne’s personality was as large as his statue and his smile and protective demeanor comforted many. A pillar of strength, Dwayne was a devoted husband, an active father, a loving son, a protective brother and a loyal friend.

He leaves behind his beautiful wife Mariah, 2 beautiful children, Kaiden and Maleiya with one on the way. Three fur babies King, Annabelle and Apollo, his newest animal baby Bearded Dragon - Raphael The Samurai, his parents Dwayne and Delores, two sisters Tamyka and Tamia, two nephews Keith and Mekhi, one niece MacKenzie, a host of cousins raised as siblings, aunts, and uncles.

What a legacy, what a life. I invite each of you to keep Dwayne alive in your hearts. We were each touched by his presence and we are better because of that. Remember his smile and may you carry it with you daily.
