POWLEY, ELDON F. April 1, 2006 Age 83 of Orion. Beloved husband of the late Betty. Dear father of Jeannette(Harold) Flood of Orion, Elizabeth(Norman) Irish of Grand Blanc, Robert(Lisa) of PA and Jane Powley of Senegal. Grandfather of 9 and Great grandfather of 8. Mr. Powley was retired from General Motors Truck and Coach after 40 years of service. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Marine Corp., where he received a Purple Heart. member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion and member of the D.A.V. Mr. Powley enjoyed church and his family. Funeral service Thursday 11 am at the the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5-8, Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm @ the Lake Orion CHapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
