POWERS, ELEANOR G. of Lake Orion, April 29, 2007, age 90.Beloved wife of the late Wesley.Dear mother of Carlyle "Sonny" (Joan) of Fla., Elaine Miller of Traverse City, Russell (Bonnie) of S.C., and the late Audrey Marsac and Karen Neff.Loving Grandmother of 19, and Great-Grandmother of 15.Sister of Albert Olson of, Bill Olson, Helen Melle, Lila Kornoely, Lillie Durgan, and the late Floyd Olson, Dorothy Mickens, and Bernice Armstead. Mrs. Powers enjoyed family gatherings and the summer at her cabin in Lake City, and traveling with her 5 sisters. She was active in local bowling leagues, and was retired from Kelsey Hayes. Funeral services Thursday 11:00 am. from the Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248-693-8336). Interment East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:00 pm. Wednesday, with suggested visiting hours of 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 pm.
