Eli Anzures

March 29, 1952 — August 22, 2020

Eli Anzures; of Auburn Hills; age 68; passed away on August 22, 2020 with his family by his side.  Eli was born to Natividad Salazar Anzures and Isaac Anzures on March 29, 1952 in Imlay City, Michigan.   He is the beloved husband of Yolanda for 46 years; loving father of Trini Anzures; grandfather of Esiah A. Anzures, Anessa R. Anzures and Anastacia I. Anzures; and Godfather of Danielle Naciancene, Rosa and Eli Castro. He also leaves behind his siblings; Norman Anzures, Cencio (Patsy) Anzures, Inasio Anzures, Abel (Irene) Anzures, Isaac Anzures, Tommy Anzures, Wilma Castro, Ilda (Charlie) Harris, Irma Anzures; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Eli was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Natividad Anzures and his sister Isabelle. He retired from Daimler Chrysler after 30 years of service. Eli’s first loves was playing the guitar which he has played since his teens.  He also loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He always said “they were the icing on a cake.”

There will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks–Griffin Funeral Home.
