HURLEY, ELIZABETH "BETHI" G. of Lake Orion.Bethi passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 19, 2010 at the age of 48 after a courageous and hard fought 3 year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 1, 1962 to the late Walter and Rhea (McCaslin) Patton. Survived by best friend and husband of over 25 years Tim. Step-Mom Claudia Patton of Lake Orion. Sisters Lori Patton, Kelli (Tim) Danley, Lesli (Greg) Kozma. Step-Sisters Michelle (Tom) Watson, Leslie (Gerry) Howard. Step-Daughters Danielle Hurley and Courtney (Ryan) McClellan. Grandma Bethi to Lexie and Taylor. She was like a mom to all of her nieces and nephews. Special friend and pal of Tanner. Bethi worked in Lake Orion all of her life, over 20 years at the L.S. Family Foods and the past 6 ½ years at Kroger in customer service. She graduated from Lake Orion High School, class of 1980. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Post 108 Oxford, and the Clarkston Eagles #3373. She will be sadly missed by all. Hopefully her courage and determination in fighting her cancer will be an inspiration to others. In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts to help with end of life expenses. Funeral Services Thursday, 11:00 A.M. from the Lake Orion Chapel Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (248 693-8336).
