Elsie Cura

Cura, Elsie; loving mother and wife; passed away September 23, 2013 at the age of 92. Born April 4, 1921 in Zacatecas, Mexico to parents Adolfo and Andrea Guzman. Elsie is the wife of the late Bernardo Cura. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Rick) Cura-Barber and Denise Cura; sister in laws, Celia Cyster (Blue Billings) and Mary (the late Henry) Cura; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was a wonderful Homemaker. She enjoyed her family and friends most of all, and also caring for others. When you visited Mom she always made your favorite meal. Mom's favorite sport was baseball and she especially loved "Sparky" Mom was our Angel on earth and now she is our Angel in heaven. Memorials services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12 noon at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
