Elvira Ramirez

In loving memory of Elvira Ramirez; age 85; was born February 19, 1930 died peacefully on March 11, 2015 with her family by her side. She was widowed for 23 years from her late husband Frank Ramirez. They were married for 46 years. Together they had 10 children, Paul (Carmen) Ramirez of Pontiac, Julian (Linda) Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Frank (Helen) Ramirez of Houston, Texas, Gilbert (Anna) Ramirez of Pontiac, Ernest Ramirez of Pontiac, Oscar (Sylvia) Ramirez of Pontiac, Rosalinda (Ralph)Guerrero of Fraser, Alicia (Don) Hardwick of Waco, Texas, Marylou Smith (John Borders) of Waterford, and Rick Ramirez of Pontiac. Also to treasure her memories are 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by 4 sisters, Beatrice Hurtado, Dora Torres, Dominga Rodrigues and Gloria DeLeon all from Texas, also her brother-in-law Julian (Beatrice) Ramirez. Elvira was preceded in death by her 4 brothers Vicente, Arnulfo, Jesse and Mario Yglecias.Funeral Service will held on Saturday, March 14,2015 at 11a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Interment Mt Hope Catholic Cemetery.
