Emmett E. Schultz

Emmett Earl Schultz; age 56; of Pontiac; passed away September 28, 2019. Emmett was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Travis and Essie Searcy-Schultz. He attended the Pontiac School System. After completing his education Emmett worked until he could no longer two years ago. Emmett enjoyed jazz music and was an avid lover of cars. He also loved spending time with family and friends. Aside from his parents, Emmett was preceded in death by his grandparents Pete and Bessie Schultz; Thorton and Corrie Searcy; many aunts, uncles and cousins; step-mother Minnie Schultz; and step-sisters, Earnestine Close and Johnnie Denise Bridgewater. He leaves to cherish his memory three loving children, Emmett Jr., Bryan and Dezarea Schultz; adoring granddaughter E’Mani Schultz; siblings, Travis Schultz Jr., Dondra Schultz and Regina Milton; loving aunt Ila “Auntie Rae” Jones; beloved nieces, Teneshia and Deandra Schultz; devoted brothers-in-law,  Joseph Bridgewater and Wesley Milton; sister-in-law Annie Schultz; step-sister Valerie Close; a host of other relatives and friends; and special friends Tommy Singleton, the McCoy-Hawkins and Granderson families. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12-1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac.
