Enrique "Henry" Torres, Jr.

Enrique Torres Jr. "Henry"; of Pontiac; November 12, 2015; age 86. Loving husband of the late Josephine (Diaz) Torres; dear father of Frank H. Torres of Arizona, Deborah A. Torres of Oxford and Carol (James) Miller of Lake Orion; dear grandfather of Donald Zimmerman, Crystal Miller, Ryan Miller, George Bryant, Carrie Smith, Frank Torres Jr. and Jennifer Atkinson; and great-grandfather of Zachary Gray, Ryann Jackson, Zane and Anastasia Torres, Zachary and Logan Smith, and Brittany Hillsman; great great-grandfather of Oliver and Max Smith; dear brother of Hector and Carlos Torres and Sonia Gutierrez; and longtime companion of Irma Flores. He was preceded in death by parents Francisco Esperiqueta, Berta Marquina Esperiqueta Torres and Enrique Torres; children Sylvia Torres Siegers and Richard H. Torres; grandchildren Nichole Miller and Frankie Crane; and brothers Robert and Fernando Torres. Mr. Torres was retired from G.M. Truck & Bus and a proud representative of the UAW as well as a proud activist of the Latino Community. He was also the former President of the Oakland County Chapter of LCLAA and a member of the La Amistad Senior Center. Committal Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11am the Chapel of Memories at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
