Esther Lois Call

Esther Lois Call (Morgan) - Born July 10, 1923 in West Frankfort, Illinois. Esther grew up in the Pontiac, Michigan area and graduated from Lake Orion High School. Married James W. Call during WWII on August 9, 1943. He preceded her in death April 1997. Esther loved being a housewife, mother and raising her family. She is survived by her three children Dianne (Call) and Joe Butler of Grand Blanc, Mike and Pam Call of Metamora, and Ginny (Call) and Doug Suderman of Midland. She is loved and will be fondly remembered as feisty Granny Esther by eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She loved her ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her brother Bill Morgan of Flint, Vi (Frank) Kymla of California, Mary Shubert of Tennessee, and Richard (Billie) Morgan of California. She was active in her church at Five Points Community Church in Auburn Hills for many years. She enjoyed retirement years and travels with her husband Jim in Florida for thirty years.

The family of Esther will receive guests for viewing and visitation on Monday, August 1st from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Sparks Griffin Funeral Home - Lake Orion. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd at 11:00am at the funeral home with internment immediately following at Square Lake Cemetery in Lake Orion. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in her name.
