Esther Claire Hyde

May 27, 1932 — March 14, 2012

Esther Claire Hyde; of Orion Township; age 79; March 14, 2012; beloved wife of Gerrit Hyde for 57 years; loving mother of Bob (Suzanne) Hyde of England, Leslie (Dave) Metzler of Texas, and Bruce Hyde of Waterford; dear grandmother of six; great grandmother of two; and sister of Adele Terlizzi of CA. Claire received her B.S. in Nursing from Keuka College in New York, and retired after many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. Claire enjoyed travel, the art of photography and most of all her flowers. Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Square Lake Cemetery in Orion Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion.
