Grandmother of Shannon, Ronny, Nathan, Timmy, Andrea and Brandon Bunker, Dusty and Niki Mobley, Heather Brown and Matt and Jamie Potestio. Sister-in-law of Susan (Dale) Wightman of Cadillac, MI and Lois McClusky of Florida and the late Bob McClusky. Faye believed strongly in God and talked to him daily and prayed often. Even though she did not belong to a church she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior many years ago. She read the Bible from cover to cover. Having been raised in Saco, Maine she loved to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and enjoyed all seafood with lobster being her favorite. Faye met Ron in the Navy at Great Lakes Naval Academy in Illinois. Recently, they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. They were best friends forever. They moved to Pontiac, Michigan in 1955 and remained in Michigan all these years to raise their family and made many friends. They moved to Lake Orion in the 1970's and still live in their dream house today. They wintered in Naples, Florida and made many more friends and enjoyed friends and family who visited there. One winter she received a Red Cross Card for swimming 50 miles over a 3 month period she was so proud. Faye loved Saturdays, and Ron let her watch TV all day and it got tuned to Horror movies and sci-fi. She observed and thought Ron even started liking them. Watching Tiger Woods and golf was a favorite past timebut she had to rethink this after recent events. Her favorite golfer was her sister Noreen and she wished she could have learned to play. She loved to decorate at all holidays, especially Christmas. Mrs. Bunker was an avid reader and kept records since 2002. Faye has read over 1000 books from 700 authors. She had her own Ceramic business in her Lake Orion basement for 8 years. She also loved to fish, swim, playing cards, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and dancing.
