Florencia Garcia

Florencia Garcia; age 86; of Waterford, MI; passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2022. She is the beloved mother of her late son, Noel Benavidez. Florencia is survived by her sister, Anitia Jackson; her three grandchildren, Noel Jr., Vincent, and Marissa Benavidez; and her two great-grandchildren, Niko and Isaac Santos.

Florencia was retired from General Motors, she enjoyed being a parishioner of the St. Vincent de Paul Church. Her hobbies included attending to her yard and studying the bible. In addition, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren telling stories and playing games.

She will be remembered as a loving, caring, and giving person.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with Rosary Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Sparks -Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
