Frances D. Whitby

Frances D. Whitby; of Leonard; age 83; December 16, 1931 - March 22, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Gerald F. Whitby; loving mother of Stephanie Miller, Deborah (Gary) Koch, Therese Kopacz, Andrea (Cem) Doygun and Gerald (Colleen) Whitby II; and the best grandmother of 12; and great grandmother of 8. Also surviving are siblings, Dorothy Zwicker, Henrietta Hudson and William Skerkowski. Frances retired from the Oxford Schools after many years. She was an avid bingo player and loved going to the casinos. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10 am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm with Rosary Prayers at 7 pm. Donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
