Francisco Roberto Pena, (Beto) Sr; passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at his home in Waterford with his loving wife by his side. Francisco leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Rebecca and seven children, Juan (Terry) Pena Sr., Lupe Johnson, Sylvia (John) Bosel, Norma (Ron) Wilson, Frank (Elaina) Pena Jr., Gene (Theresa) Pena and Liz (Shelby) Pena. Francisco is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rodolfo (Juanita) Pena Sr., Henry (Rosa) Pena Sr; four sisters, Dora Pena, Delia (Oscar) Gutierrez, Jesusa (Eliseo) Sauceda, Maria (Joe) Vela, Diana (Guillermo) Rodriguez; and a host of nieces, nephews and a special family member, Maria Lopez. Francisco was preceded in death by his parents Jose Sr. and Herlinda Pena, his brother Jose Pena Jr. and his great-grandson Baby Darius Luke II. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2010, 11 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Michael's Catholic Church. The family will receive friend at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral, 46 Williams St. on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
