Carter, Fred C. July 16, 2010 age 90 of Orion. Beloved husband of Miriam of 62 years. Loving father of Mark(Kate) Carter of Monroe, Margaret(Tom) Chaffee of Lake Orion and Linda(Ron) Dimmer of Clarkston.Grandfather of Stephanie Carter, Michael(Kandace) Chaffee, Matthew Chaffee, Christopher Chaffee, Andrew Dimmer and Nathan Dimmer. Mr. Carter was a Communications Supervisor and a Veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was a member of the Oxford American Legion. Funeral service Tuesday 11 am from the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Tuesday 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be Tuesday 12:30pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial Reflections can be made at www.sparksgriffin.com
