Gary Norman Cosgrove

Gary Norman Cosgrove; of Lake Orion; age 71; passed away on April 25, 2025.  Gary is the beloved husband of Linda, his “Tulip” for 52 years; loving father of Toni and her husband and son in law Tony Detwiler; and loving grandfather of Michael, Heather, Sydnie, Tessa and Mitchell.  He is also the great grandpa and “special friend” of Carter and Brady; dear uncle of Priscilla; great uncle and “best friend” of Brayden, Dominic, Mason, Preston and Easton; and dear brother of Bonnie Cosgrove and the late David Cosgrove.  Gary was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran who after serving in the military, retired from American Axel after 28 years.  Along with his “Lovebug” who was also his “Cupcake” and at other times his “Anchovie” enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Gary’s family was very important, especially his beloved Chihuahua’s Rico and Chica.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family camping and taking care of his truck.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
