Gary Morris

Gary Morris of Lake Orion, age 70, passed away on January 13, 2021. Gary, who was one of six children, was born in Pontiac, MI on May 22, 1950 to Wilton and Leola Morris. Gary is the husband of Shirley Morris of 50 years; father to Shelly (Buster) Krueger and Angela (Bill) Campbell; grandpa to Tyler Krueger, Derek (Gabi) Krueger, Danny Campbell, and Owen Campbell; and great grandpa to Brantley Campbell. Gary worked for GM at Pontiac Truck & Bus for 30 years as a millwright. He retired in 2002 and enjoyed many happy years of retirement. Gary loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons who were his pride and joy. He was also an avid outdoorsman and spent many hours hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time up north, growing a huge garden every year, and tinkering in his barn. He was a very generous and loving man. He will be missed by so many family and friends. In Gary’s honor, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 12-2pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. Masks are required for those attending.
