Gavin P. Dooley-Pfeiffer

September 5, 1962 — December 11, 2011

Gavin P. Dooley-Pfeiffer; formerly of Lake Orion; passed away unexpectedly December 11, 2011 at the age of 49. Gavin is survived by his son Corey (Anna Welch), and his girlfriend Tina Ferguson. He is also survived by his mother Gail; sister Shannon; brothers Burke (Cheri), Brendan, and Matt (Rhonda); uncle Carl; and nieces and nephews, Kurt (Lindsey), Justen, Adam, Rachel, Barret, Liam, Brooke, Paris and Quinn. Gavin was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was known in his circle of friends and family as the "Carpet Salesman Extraordinaire", and he will always be remembered as the most exciting version of himself when he was with his many nieces and nephews being Uncle Gavvy, continuously running around the house, or acting as the human jungle jim for hours and hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
