Rodriguez, Genevieve; July 20, 2008; of Pontiac; age 77. Loving wife of the late Roque L. Rodriguez Loving mother of William ( Kathy) Rodriguez, Conchita ( Carmelo) Moyet, Maria " Purina" ( Guadalupe) Rodriguez - Cortez, Virginia Harvey, Irene ( Little G ) Rodriguez. Grandmother of eighteen and twenty - six great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Genevieve was preceded in death by her son Roque Jr. and sister Guadalupe Carrizales. She was born in Consicana, Texas and came to Michigan to start a new life with her family. She enjoyed being with her family, dancing, arts and crafts and the casinos. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 10 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Family will receive friends on Friday at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.. in lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to the family.To share a reflection, visit www.sparksgriffin.com.
