George C. Barnowsky

George Colin Barnowsky; of Lake Orion; age 68; passed away on June 20, 2021.  George is the beloved husband of Deborah Marie Barnowsky for 48 years; loving father of Brad (Heather) Barnowsky and Lisa Cummins; and loving grandfather of Nathaniel, Gabbi, Sarah and Braylin.  George is also the brother of Martha, Joe, the late Fred, Jim, John and Louise.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  George coached softball for many years and was the coach for the Lake Orion Freshman Girls Softball team.  He enjoyed camping, golfing, bowling and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.  The family will welcome friends for a visitation at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 4-8 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11 am at the Divine Grace Lutheran Church, Lake Orion.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cardinal Hospice or Divine Grace Lutheran Church.  Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery, Lake Orion.
