George G. Caldwell

George Gilbert Caldwell; of Oxford; age 64; passed away July 10, 2021.  George is the beloved husband of Pamela Miller Caldwell for 31 years; loving father of Sandra (Sol) Cunningham, Courtney Caldwell and Kelly (Camilo) Glas; loving grandfather of Kyle, Megan, Phoebe, Jedediah and Fin.  He was also the dear brother of Tom Caldwell, Sandra (Lee) Reda, Cathy (Walter) Hammond and Norm Caldwell.  George was happiest when he was with his wife and best friend Pam, when he was with Pam he didn't need anything else in life.  He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  George enjoyed doing outdoor work and kept an immaculate lawn.  Some of his favorite pastimes were kayaking, archery, cooking on the grill, playing yard games and listening to country and bluegrass music.  George will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
