Georgene Marie Makins-Tozzi

Georgene Marie Makins-Tozzi; age 81; of Waterford, Michigan. Loving mother of Michael (Chris) Tozzi, Paul Tozzi, Deborah Tozzi-Lopucki, Frank (Denise Martin) Tozzi & Mario (Margo) Tozzi; grandmother of Michael (Teresa) Tozzi II, Jennifer (Robert) Knight II, Jessica Tozzi, Jonathan Tozzi, Ashley Tozzi, Samantha Tozzi and Paige Tozzi; great-grandmother of Tristan Tozzi, Garret Tozzi, Robert Knight III, Jordan Tozzi, Justice Tozzi, Brayden Tozzi and Scarlette Tozzi; survived by her sister and numerous nieces and nephews; also survived by her extended family Alexandria "Zan" Phelps, Jesse Phelps, Heather Flanagan, Sean, Zoe, Alex, Gracie, Aaron and Emma Britt. Georgene grew up in Clawson, MI., served in the U.S. Army as PFC during the Korean War. She was a long time resident of Commerce Township before moving to Waterford, Michigan. She was a magnificent cook, participated in scouting, enjoyed gardening, sports, knitting and most of all loved her family. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Renaissance Unity Church 11200 E. 11 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan 48089. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
