Gerald Stowell O'Dean

Gerald Stowell O’Dean; of Lake Orion; age 92; passed away on March 21, 2026. Gerald is the beloved husband of the late Shirley, who passed away in 2013 after 57 years of marriage. He is the loving father of Jeffrey (the late Peggy) O’Dean and the late Gerri Ann Pollack; and the loving grandfather of Kelly O’Dean, Colin O’Dean, Eddie Pollack and Megan Pollack. He is also the step-brother of John Bader and Bill Bader; and father in law of Ed Pollack. Gerald worked for the City of Pontiac Fire Department from 1959 to 1985. After his retirement he owned and operated a fishing charter out of Port Sanilac and Grindstone City in Michigan. Gerald loved spending time with his family, as well as being an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11:00 am at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 – 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services on Friday at Eastlawn Cemetery.
