Gerald Frederick Whitby

Whitby, Gerald Frederick; of Leonard; age 82; 8/05/1930 - 3/24/2013. Beloved husband of Frances Deloras for 59 years; loving father of Stephanie Miller, Deborah (Gary) Koch, Therese Kopacz, Andrea (Cem) Doygun and Gerald (Colleen) Whitby II; and the best grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, all of who will miss their "dollars". Also surviving are three brothers, Ed, Art, and Ron; and many nieces and nephews. Gerald was a lifelong builder, Past Grand Knight, and former District Deputy of the K of C Counsel 4764, Lake Orion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. with Rosary Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
