Geraldine "Gerry" A Rathburg

Geraldine “Gerry” A. Rathburg; passed away peacefully on March 29, 2020 at the age of 95.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.  She was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio by her parents Martin and Anna Gunderson.  She had one sister Roberta (Bert) Shaffer.  It was in Youngstown where she met her husband, Bill.  They were married for 48 years until his death in 1994.  Gerry was blessed with five children, three of whom survive her, Bill (Jan) Rathburg, Dave (Bonnie) Rathburg and Eric (Debbie) Rathburg.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Lorna Hawkins and son Clay Rathburg.  Gerry loved fresh tomatoes, strawberries, roses, history, and young children.  The absolute joy of her life was her thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Gerry will be buried at Lakeville Cemetery. A celebration of her wonderful life will be held at a later date.
