“Fatso” loved every member of his family in so many ways. But his greatest joy was to be a father first and foremost. He absolutely loved his kids and took them everywhere he could to spend quality time with them. He wanted to be the provider that we all strive to be in this life. He gave of himself at all times and never asked for anything in return. He gave from his heart and that’s what he’ll be remembered most for. His infectious smile lit up every room he entered. He was always joking, laughing and cheerful at all times. His unexpected visits to family and friends will be missed as he was notorious todrop in on you without notice and he was accepted everywhere he visited with open arms. He didn’t need a reason or occasion to visit. He just loved visiting with everyone because that brought him joy, just as it did for all of us.
“Fatso” loved fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, traveling, dancing and going out to eat, just to name a few. He worked at Walt’s Crawlers (Big Worm Trucking) in Waterford, Mich. where he found his favorite job opportunity to deliver bait and meet with people. His customers were his friends and they looked forward to his deliveries and cheerful smile when he walked through their doors. He took a lot of pride in his work and it showed.
“Fatso” will be sorely missed. His presence will not go unnoticed as he was a big part of keeping the family cheerful & together. His love for his family showed how big his heart truly was as he touched everyone he came in contact with. Rest in peace Fats!
