Gilbert Ruben Garcia, ; age 69; Rapid River, formerly of Pontiac; August 24, 2010. Born October 3, 1940; son of the late Manuel and Mary ( Villarreal ) Garcia; husband of Delia ( Aguilera ); father of Monica ( Brian ) Tovar, Ruben Garica; grandfather of seven; brother of Leonel ( Carol ) Garcia, Rachel Gonzales, Juanita Casas, Ana ( Michael ) Contreras; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gilbert was employed for 36 years with General Motors Corporation until his retirement in 1995. Gilbert family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Visitation hours will continue on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sparks - Griffin Funeral Home in Pontiac, MI. Gilbert's family will also receive friends on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Sparks- Griffin Funeral Home. Graveside services with military rites will follow at 12 Noon at the Christian memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Mi
