Gladys Ruth Cheal

June 3, 1916 — March 14, 2009

Gladys R. Cheal, of Beverly Hills; formerly of Pontiac; passed away March 14, 2009 at the age of 92. Gladys is survived by her nieces and nephews, Diane (Charles) Kohn of Shelby Twp., Dale (Jane) Cheal, Bill Cheal, Lee Cheal and Robert Cheal. She is also survived by her great nephews, Bryan and Thomas; great nieces Melanie, Kimberly, Kathleen and Laura; and her dear caregiver Kathryn Bordes. Gladys retired from G.M. Truck and Coach after 33 years of service. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pontiac, Tuesday Musicale and the Wisner Historical Society. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Langwig officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
