Gladys "Sue" Streight

Gladys "Sue" Streight; of Lake Orion; age 75; went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2014. Sue was the beloved wife of Waldon for 52 years; loving mother of Linda (Mark) Moran, Janet (Ken) Kobos and Richard (Summer) Streight; dear grandmother of Jacquline, Kaitlyn, Zachary and Mason; great grandmother of Jacob; and sister of Richard Petersen and Evie (Delaine) Hanson. Sue was the daughter of Rev. Gudmund and Gladys Petersen and graduated from Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa. Together Sue and Waldon moved to Michigan where she was very active in King of Kings Lutheran Church and choir. She became the surrogate grandmother to the many children that she watched thru the years. Sue also enjoyed volunteering with F.I.S.H. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10am at King of Kings Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Friday at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
