Glenn Marshall

Glenn Kyle Marshall; of Lake Orion, June 10, 2013. Beloved husband, father, and "Papa". Survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce (Malinky) Marshall; father of John (Angela) Marshall, Andrew (Julie) Marshall; grandfather of Ryan and Collin Marshall; brother of Nada Thorpe and Lester (Hontas) Marshall; brother-in-law of Janet and Kathleen Marshall; Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Glenn is preceded in death by his siblings, James "Jim" Marshall, George "GD" Marshall, Dorothy Forest, Hannah Bradford, Robert "Bobby" Marshall; and parents, Roland and Virginia Marshall. Glenn worked for 45 years at Inductoheat Inc. He was a "master tinkerer" and loved to fix, repair, and invent. He was an avid automotive enthusiast and loved to restore vintage cars and tractors. Glenn made custom slingshots since he was a little boy. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, hunting, and "chewing the fat" but most of all he loved his family, especially his precious grandsons. Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
