Gordon T. Ryan

Gordon Thomas Ryan; of Lake Orion; age 85; passed away September 4, 2017. Gordon is the beloved husband of Lorraine for 65 years; loving father of Tom (Paula) Ryan, Sharon Burns and Cindy (Greg) Mason; loving grandfather of Allison, Sarah, Mitchell, Brian, Kendra, Rebecca, Shaina, John and Mikayla; adoring great grandfather of Skyler and Kelsie; and dear brother of Michael Ryan.  Gordon was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and retired from GM after 35 years.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  The family will receive friends at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion on Thursday from 4-8p.m. with Rosary Prayers at 7p.m. Burial with military honors will be held on Monday at 11:30a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Harvey Hurricane Disaster Relief thru the care of the American Red Cross. www.sparksgriffin.com
