Guillermo Melendez, Suarez; age 71; of Pontiac; passed away June 11, 2014. Beloved husband of Luz A. Melendez for 50 years. Loving father of Diany (Dave) Donnan, Tito (Irma) Melendez, Beto (Gladys) Melendez, Kay (Rosa) Melendez, , Ita (Junior) Torres, Mary (Junior) Serrano, and Moi (Pimpy) Melendez. Grandfather of 21 grandchildren. Survived by two brothers and one sister. Guillermo was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. He was a man of God, lead Guitar at Church for 26 years. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Luz Del Mundo A/G Church, 87 Lafatyette St. with viewing from 10:30 until time of service. Family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
