Harold E. Forrester

Harold E. Forrester; of Oxford; age 81; passed away November 1, 2023.  Harold is the beloved husband of Karon; loving father of the late Daniel; dear brother of Ann Smelcer, Brenda (Al) Parsons and the late Lewis (Elizabeth) Forrester; and the special uncle of Suzie (Derek) Wright, Michael Mullins, Mark Mullins, Matt (Leslie) Smelcer, Chad (Casey) Smelcer and Karen Mullins.  Harold retired after 34 years as a Tool & Die Maker at General Motors.  He was a longtime member of Shalom Baptist Church and he always enjoyed working in the garden.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 12 noon at Shalom Baptist Church, 3400 Morgan Road, Orion Township.  The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Perry Mount Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Life.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.
