Harry Richard Boyt was born on June 18, 1943, to Roy A. Boyt and Anna Lou Boyt (Warren). He passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Harry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly Ann Boyt (Stone). He is survived by his siblings, Michael (Millie) and Joyce; his children, Richard, Robert, Steven, and Kevin (Alana); and his stepchildren, William Forsyth, Gary Forsyth, Kevin (Dawn) Forsyth, and Cindy (Jeff) McLenna. Harry was also a proud and loving grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought joy to his life.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Harry spent much of his younger years in Goodrich, Michigan, where he enjoyed playing football and farming. After raising his family, he dedicated 25 years of service to the Grand Trunk Railroad before retiring and beginning a new chapter of life.
In his retirement, Harry and Beverly enjoyed the sunshine and warmth of Venice, Florida. Harry remained active in the local Eagles Club and put his talents to work by starting his own remodeling business. He and Beverly treasured their years spent between Florida and Michigan, traveling back north during the summers to enjoy precious time with their families.
Harry will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, strong work ethic and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He had a way of making a lasting impression on the people around him, and his memory will live on through the many lives he touched.
Though he will be deeply missed, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
