Hazel L. Spencer

Hazel L. Spencer; of Rochester Hills; passed away February 8, 2018 at 88 years of age. Hazel was the beloved wife of the late Shirley; loving mother of Thomas (Kim) Spencer, Angela (Joseph) LaCourse and Timothy (Rose) Spencer; loving grandmother of 7; and great grandmother of 10.  She is also the sister of Dorothy (Robert) Teeple and the late Leroy Hart; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.  For many years Hazel worked at Montgomery Wards and Sears in Pontiac.  She was active in the Howarth United Methodist Church and loved helping out at the church dinners.  Hazel also enjoyed quilting, traveling, watching game shows and playing Bingo.  Funeral services will be held of Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 12noon at the Howarth United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion.  Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Oxford.  Memorials may be made to the Howarth United Methodist Church.
