Helen Gerbe

Helen Gerbe; of Lake Orion; age 88; passed away peacefully April 24, 2014. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Raymond. She is survived by her children, Marietta Vickrey, Linda (Larry) Huyghe, Joe (Terrie) Gerbe and Raymond (Lynette) Gerbe; grandchildren Jennifer, Leslie, Patrick, Carolynn, Joseph, Danielle, Breanne, Jeffrey, Shannon, Nathan, Jeremy, Randy, Steven and Kary; and 22 great grandchildren. Helen was a very active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and member of the Church Street Singers. She enjoyed playing sports especially golf and racquetball, and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at SPARKS-GRIFFIN FUNERAL HOME, Lake Orion with Rosary Prayers at 6 p.m. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery.
