Helen Kay Howerton

Helen Kay Howerton; of Pontiac; age 74; passed away January 19, 2021. Helen was born on December 22, 1946 in Portsmouth Ohio; Helen is the beloved wife of Stanley Wayne Howerton; loving mother of Tina Marie Howerton of Pontiac, Michigan and Robin Ann Boyles of Southfield, Michigan; grandmother of Kwanzel Howerton of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Ieshia Vargas of Waterford, Michigan, and Terrell Boyles of Pontiac, Michigan; great grandmother of a host of great grandchildren; sister of Wanda Carver of West Portsmouth, Ohio, Ruth Ann Adkins of Portsmouth, Ohio, Shirley Vanhoet of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and Carolyn Croskey of Petoskey, Michigan. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Charles Ervin Collins and Rosie Bell Fodge; brother Charles Collins Jr; sisters Donna sue Nuckols and Brenda Gates

The family will receive visitors on January 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home in Pontiac, Michigan. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Mask are required and social distancing is strongly encouraged. Interment will follow the service at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
