Moreno, Helen Roche; born September 16, 1924 in Lorain, Ohio; daughter of Crispin and Maria Jacinto Roche; currently of Waterford, Michigan; died Thursday, February 1, 2007; she was 82. Helen is survived by her husband, Emanuel Moreno; three sons, David Moreno of Westwood, CA, James Moreno of Chicago, IL, Michael Moreno of Dearborn, MI; four daughters Carol Moreno of Clarkston, MI, Mary Ann Moreno of Beverly Hills, MI; Patricia Moreno of Cheshire, CT and Julia Longenecker of Sturgis, MI; her sister, Rosemary Obregon of San Antonio, TX; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Helen was a devoted, loving, mother and wife. Helen and Manuel celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on January 8th. She was a member a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society, active in Rummage Sales, Fish Frys and a joyful participant wherever needed and always singing. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the Pontiac Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Pontiac with Father Sean Sylvester officiating
