Rush, Helen; age 89, died September 24, 2009; the daughter of the lateWilliam Fuhrmann and Caroline Hill; beloved wife of the late Willard; dear mother of Janice Knapp, Edward (Elsa) Rush, and Willard (Martha) Rush Jr. She ispredeceased by her siblings Frank, William, Walter, Charles, Mary, and Daisy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.In 1984 Helen retired from the payroll department at the Oakland County Courthouse. Born in Erie, PA, she spent the years after marriage creating our wonderful family. Her heart was so big, that she never reserved it for only relatives. Helen will be dearly missed by family & friends, especially her endearing smile & great sense of humor. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Orion Chapel of Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment East Lawn Cemetery. Reflections may be shared by visiting www.sparksgriffin.com.
