Helen Marie Seybert

Helen was born to Roscoe Laverne Seybert & Grace Harriett (nee: Warner) Seybert on August 11, 1939 in Bucyrus, Ohio. The family moved to Pontiac, Michigan where Roscoe worked at the General Motors Pontiac Plant as a crane operator. Grace retired after 10 years as a baker at the former Pontiac General Hospital on Huron Street in Pontiac, Michigan.

Helen is survived by her sister, Barbara Lee (nee: Seybert) Lilleyman of Rochester Hills, MI and her brother, Ralph Edward Seybert (Rua Seybert) of Sheridan, Michigan.

She was a resident of Pontiac, Michigan, until her death on February 9, 2025, at the former St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.

Helen is also the aunt to Barbara’s 3 daughters, the late Rhonda Denise Jacobs, Lori Ann (nee: Lilleyman) Kedrow of Warren, Michigan, and Robyn Lyn (nee: Lilleyman) Moore (Raymond Moore) of Gonzales, Louisiana. And Ralph’s three sons, Alan Seybert of Litchfield, Michigan, Steven Seybert (April Seybert) of Lake, Michigan and Brian Seybert of Florida. She is also survived by numerous first and second cousins.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel.
