SINKLER, MARLENE of Lake Orion, January 28, 2007 age 72.Beloved wife of Ken.Dear mother of Diki Burns of Oxford. Loving Grandmother of Dwayne Badgero. Niece of Mike Metzer of CA. Sister of the late Richard Metzer. Marlene was a self-employed Seamstress, with her specialty being wedding dresses. She was a very devoted wife and mother and she had one grandson whom she loved dearly. Marlene is now rejoicing with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She attended the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion for 45 years and served faithfully in many of the ministries of the church. Two of her favorite ministries were working with the youth and singing in the choir. She was always concerned more with others than herself. We would not wish her back as she is in the presence of her great God. However we will treasure the memories that we shared for s o many years. Funeral service Thursday, February 1, 2007, 11 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Lake Orion. Family will receive friends Wednesday after 3pm, at the Lake Orion Chapel of the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, with suggested visiting hours of 3-5 & 7-9 pm.
